Sometimes Shaffl or the bus company has to cancel a trip, for example because of a breakdown, a safety issue or a closed road. When that happens, you’re fully protected.
You can choose
- A free seat on the next available trip of a similar standard, with nothing extra to pay
- Or a full refund of what you paid
If the bus never arrived within a reasonable time and you weren’t taken to your destination, that counts as a cancellation too.
If a bus breaks down after leaving and can’t continue, Shaffl arranges onward transport or refunds all or part of the fare.
