Bags and seats on flights

Bags

• Each fare lists its checked bag and carry-on allowance, for example “1 bag, 23 kg”.
• If you see “Ask us” in the app, or “Airline’s rules” on the website, the airline didn’t tell us. Contact us before you fly if you need to know.
• Some airlines, such as flynas and flyadeal, sell bags as part of a fare bundle. We book the airline’s basic bundle. The app shows what it includes before you pay; the website says “Bags come with the fare you book”.
• Extra bags can’t be bought on Shaffl.

Seats

• Seats can’t be chosen on Shaffl. The airline gives you a seat when you check in.
• Until then, your booking in the app shows the seat as “At check-in”.
• An infant travels on an adult’s lap and doesn’t get a seat of their own.
