Flight prices change often, so Shaffl checks the airline’s live price for your group before you fill anything in, and again just before you pay.
The price
- Prices are in Egyptian pounds and include taxes and airport fees.
- If the airline’s price for your group is different from the search, Shaffl shows you the new price before you type anything.
- If it changes again just before you pay, you see “The fare changed” in the app, or “The price changed” on the website, and choose whether to book at the new price.
- Search results stay valid for an hour. After that, search again for the latest prices.
Paying
- You pay by card on Kashier’s secure payment page, which opens in the language you use Shaffl in. Your bank may ask you to confirm the payment.
- You have up to 20 minutes to pay. The app tells you how long, and if a payment doesn’t go through, the website shows the time left.
- Nothing is booked with the airline until you’ve paid.
- If your card is declined, no money is taken, and you can try again while the time to pay lasts.
- If the time runs out, nothing is charged. Search again to book.
Points and promo codes
- Have a balance in your Wallet? Before you pay, turn on Use your balance in the app, or the points switch on the website. Every 100 points take EGP 1 off, and at least EGP 1 is paid by card.
- You earn 1 point for every full pound you pay, once your flights are confirmed. A refunded booking loses the points it earned.
- Promo codes can’t be used on flights.
